Visa Credit Card Fraud
Ebay and Visa Gift Card help!?
Hey, I am planning to purchase something on Ebay. An S10 Respirator to be exact. I’ve never done this before, and my parents don’t trust Ebay, they aren’t into the whole concept after hearing about frauds. I know to check the seller’s ratings and information first as well. What I’m planning to do is buy a Visa Gift Card, (Anyone know what amounts they come in?) create an Ebay account, and use the Visa Gift Card to purchase it (Will it work?).
If it doesn’t count as a Credit Card, would I be able to make the transaction through PayPal and add the Visa Credit Card in there? If I’m not getting the concept, please don’t hesitate to correct me or give me guidelines. Amazon just ran out of those gas masks so I am turning to Ebay. Thanks.
Visa Gift cards work. my advice would be to buy a gift card then buy a greendot debit card with it if you don’t have a bank account (greendotonline.com), and you have to make a paypal account to use ebay (paypal.com) you have to be 18 though to make an account, of course nowadays you can just say your 18. I buy stuff from ebay all the time, and I started selling stuff too. It’s great, I bet you’ll love it . anyway, yes. you can use a visa giftcard but you have to add it to your paypal account, which is why I recommend greendot. once your money on the card runs out you have to buy another one and add it to your paypal all over again. concerning frauds, you just have to watch out. ebay has policies on fraud that protect the buyer so I wouldn’t worry too much.
